Listen Honey

So there was this person at work that did not always have

pretty days. This person worked hard! Came in early. Did what they called, "Get it done." Favor from man was not on this person's side. It seemed the harder that person worked the more "they" would find fluff to minimize great efforts. When this person verbally corrected the "them" without getting loud or using profanity it seemed to make "them" more anxious. "They" operated without vision, and refused to give power to those who could see. "They" refused to acknowledge the mishaps of the organization in the fear "They" would lose their positional power to those who operated out of influence.

Well, look like it is time for a new job!! That person thought "I don't deserve this mess! I am way too wise to stay in an unhealthy environment. They are intimidated with my ability to influence others. You know what??? Why should I give 110 to this company. Obviously they care nothing about me or my skills."

What if I decide come in just on time or use the 15 minute grace period, do the bare minimum? See how they like that!!!! Yeah, see how they operate without me."

Pride Pride Pride

WAIT WAIT WAIT ...

Jeremiah 9:23-24

23This is what the Lord says:

“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, 24 but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,” declares the Lord.

Colossians 3:23-24

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving

Sometime it is easier to remove your purpose and vision than it is to trust God to do what He said He will do.

Honey Listen!!! If you don't remove pride you will never see your areas for growth.

Honey Listen!!! If you don't remove pride, you can not please the Father.

Listen Honey !!! Every decision "THEY" make is not about you.

So, let's pray about this.

Before you do that ... You know your own righteous agenda... Consider what you really want. Recognition of men or the Creator???

Father, in the name of Jesus!! I surrender my pride to you. I surrender the emotions that keep me in bondage. I surrender the attitude that is not representative of you when I see the people who spitefully use me and the gifts you give me. I trust, Lord, that You will always take care of me. I trust that you have plans to prosper me and not to harm me. Father, help me to be content in the now so I can grow in the future. Help me to speak wisdom and not arrogance. I want to clearly examine my self daily without the influence of people no matter how articulate they might be. Help me to lean and depend on what Your Word says that I am.
